Hi, I’m Ann Pierre, founder of Marieli Stone, and my journey with fragrance began in childhood. I loved anything that smelled good—lotions, soaps, oils, and especially perfume (wild story below). My mom was my earliest inspiration. She wore perfume often, and to me, it was her invisible signature. One day, she gifted me my very first bottle: Red Door by Elizabeth Arden. That scent stayed with me.
Now for the story. When I was just a baby, I got into my mom’s stash of scented lotions and rubbed them all over my tiny body! What followed was my first harsh lesson: I broke out in a full-body rash. It was painful and uncomfortable, and that’s when my family first realized just how sensitive I was to fragrance.
As I grew, I realized I had a gift—a very sensitive nose. I could smell everything. I could pick out the specific perfumes people wore at church or school. It became my secret superpower, and it made me curious about how fragrances were made and what gave them their emotional pull.
Years later, I learned that many of the beautiful fragrances I admired were filled with toxic ingredients that weren’t just irritating, but harmful. Around the same time, I was diagnosed with breast cysts and a fibroadenoma and that diagnosis shook me. It didn’t just catapult me into prioritizing my health—it lit a fire in me to create something better: a line of clean, safe perfumes that didn’t sacrifice beauty for wellness.
Marieli Stone was born out of that mission.
As a nurse with my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and someone who has worked closely with women facing reproductive health challenges, I’ve seen firsthand how devastating these issues can be. I also know how important it is to feel beautiful, feminine, and whole in your own skin. I wanted to create a fragrance experience that supports that feeling—not compromises it.
At Marieli Stone, I am intentional about every ingredient we use. Every scent is crafted to be luxurious, phthalate- and paraben-free, and safe so you can indulge without worry.
